Spiritomb Wannabe Bronzong

Nature: Sassy/ Relaxed

Evs: 252 HP / 152 Atk / 8 Def / 96 SpD also make sure to have a 0 IV in speed for optimum performance. Note: this Ev spread was made for the relaxed nature. If using Sassy, then simply reverse the Ev's for Def and SpD

Ability: Heatproof

Item: Leftovers

Moveset:
Imprison
Earthquake
Hypnosis/ Explosion
Gyroball

How to use (the way we intend it to work): This is another one of those "surprise!" movesets in general. The move imprison works so that as long has bronzong is on the field, any move in the movepool cannot be used against bronzong. So as you can see earthquake, gyroball, and hypnosis cannot be used against bronzong. This is very useful when used in combination with the ability Heatproof. I'm not saying that Earthquake is the only ground move ever going to be used, but never in all my time of battling on Wi-Fi have I ever seen another ground move ever used. Your goal here is just to simply outlast the opponent. With no weaknesses, it becomes much, much easier to do so. Gyroball should be your main attacking move for STAB but also Earthquake can be used for damage. Hypnosis can also be used as it is extremely useful as a support move. Putting stuff to sleep is a good way to continually annoy your opponent. Explosion is also an option as going out with a bang is always fun.

Counters: Just like with any Bronzong, Heatrans are your worst nightmare due to their high special attack, and earthpower. Other than that the only moves that can hit this for a supereffective and do reasonable damage are Magnitude and Dig. Is highly unlikely to be used as it takes two turns to use and is easily countered. Magnitude is too random and is outclassed by Earthquake so it is extremely rare. Earthpower is much more common than Magnitude or Dig, barring Heatran, out of everything else that can learn it, your worst fear is a Claydol or Probopass with a mere 70 or 75 base special attack. Even then, the standard Smogon Claydol is reccomended to have Earthquake instead. An Earthquake to the face from you should finish off the Probopass. A Skarmory could switch in and Roar you away. There isn't much you can do about that. But I guess Skarmory is really a counter to any Bronzong.

Overall: The fact that almost nothing can hit this for super effective damage is already pretty awesome. The oddness factor of this definetly leads to a surprise as what Bronzong doesn't have EQ?

DO YOU HAVE A MOVE SET!?

It came to RVOK and I's attention today that people may want to contribute to us also. Please let me tell you we want this to happen. We are looking to build up a community from this and this is the kind of support we need! So I am proposing that every week we will read through all our emails and we are going to pick our weekly favorite fan moveset! Please note these need to be original. We will credit you at the beginning and the end of the post so please don't believe we're just going to steal your idea. Remeber this can only happen if you, the community, step up to the plate.
We hope this is one way we can get you, the 2 person community as of the time of posting, involved in our site. We also would appreciate if you have friends that could also be intrested just say "hey check out this site. They got something good going here." (Which I believe we do!)
Also as a ending note we will be having a banner competition. Look for details as a video response to Poriyan123's new youtube video ( the one vs our own RVOK displaying the Lucario Anti-sweep). The winner will get a team of the movesets we come up with and their banner displayed at the top of the page. Make it look good-don't be lazy. We would prefer entrys be emailed to us.
Please note: not pokesetS that was already taken >_>

Edit:
Please post comments as it helps us refine and better our and your ideas.

Dragonite: Special Sweeper

This may sound strange at first, but I say why not. Dragonite's base Sp. Atk is far from "bad" coming in at 100. To put that in perspective Infernape has 104 and Lucario has 115 with Milotic,Mew and Starmie also at 100. The place where this set really shines is the amazing coverage this Dragonite has. This also raises the possibility of a mix sweeper so possibly look for that in the future. Just the suprise of the whole thing could be a huge advantage as with many of the sets you will find on this site.

Evs:
252 Sp Atk/252 Spd
Item:
Life Orb/Choice Specs/Wise Glasses

Moves:
Flamethrower
Ice Beam
Thunder Bolt
Surf

Options:
Like I said before this could be changed a bit to make a mix sweep just by changing the Evs a bit etc. The one downfall to this whole thing is that Dragonite cannot learn a Sp Atk boosting move. A baton pass to this set after a nasty plot or 2 could be devestating to the opponent.
As for Life Orb vs Choice Specs it's more of a decision of if you want to sweep one by one or just kinda switch in and out here or there. I wouldn't reccomend Wise Glasses but it is still an option.

Counters: Special Walls and anything that might be faster and hit with an ice, rock or dragon move. If they're not faster they're covered.

Verdict:
Great coverage, decent stats, the suprise is wonderful. A baton pass could make this amazing.

Lucario: Anti-PSweep

This set is of a Lucario, the same lucario found in Poriyan1's video found at the link here:
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
I prefer the extra speed of Jolly because it allows for a higher possibility of sweeping.
Evs: 252Atk / 6SpDef / 252Spd
Item: Focus Sash
Moveset:
Reversal
Detect
Counter
Extreme Speed
Comments:
Set is meant to stop a physical sweep. Switch in after one of your number falls victim to the physical onslaught. Then simply counter. Almost guaranteed OHKO on anything. If they did not die from counter, then use extreme speed for the finisher. When your opponent sends out something else, Reversal, because at 1hp, Reversal has a base power of 200, without STAB. With something such as this you may be able to turn the tide of any battle. Detect on the set is a good stall move, useful for determining if your opponent intends to status you or not. Also it helps scout the opponent to determine whether they are physical or special attackers. Works well with sandstorm support.
Counters:
Since Focus Sash only works when Lucario is a full HP, stealth rock, hail, and spikes ruin this set. Don't worry about toxic spikes as Lucario is immune to poison. Any sort of non-physical attacker will prevent a counter KO, but assuming you have a fast Lucario, you should be able to KO with STAB reversal. Any ghost type walls this set infinetly as Lucario has no way to damage them. Paralysis of any kind will prevent an after sweep and can possibly hinder the counter KO (if Lucario is fully paralysised).
Overall:
This set adds a new twist on the already mysterious Lucario. It works well as a surprise as not many people would suspect Lucario to be a type of tank instead of a sweeper. It can easily change the tides of battle from "The Swept" to "The Sweeper". But beware, as if you have this set on your team, you need some sort of rapid spinner to prevent a pushover pokemon.

Welcome

Hi. I'm blahblablee and welcome to Poke-Sets. My friend RVOK and I have created this site to post alternate, useful and sometimes bizarre movesets. We'll try to put out a new moveset every week. Our intentions are to take a poll every 2 weeks and come up with a new moveset for the Pokemon that won the previous poll. Other than that we will find one we like and come up with something new.

We're gonna start out with 2 sets we've come up with. One's a little strange and the other is down right cruel.

I understand that some sites like to make a comprehensive list of movesets for each Pokemon (such as smogon.com) and while we don't mind them posting movesets we come up with we would appreciate a link to our site or at least credit for developing them.

I'm excited to start this and look forward to coming up with some good movesets for the community to enjoy.
